Round up your girlfriends to own your strong at the next Mudderella, a 5-7 mile obstacle course designed by women “for women to experience new challenges alongside other women”. With 12-15 obstacles of climbing, crawling, swimming, slipping and sliding at each race, it can seem a tad intimidating for newbies just starting out their running game..
But no worries! Mudderella is a race where you are encouraged to go at your own pace, with many break opportunities that your physical and mental being needs. You can even skip an obstacle if you aren’t comfortable with it. So, it’s safe to say you don’t have to be a super fit athlete to participate. Mudderella is your race–you get back what you put in!
Afterwards, you can celebrate your achievement with your fellow champions at the post-race party with Mudderella’s “rinse and revive” ritual, complete with music, food and pampering–there are massage stations and FREE yoga on site!–to cap off your muddy experience certain to put a big smile on your face.
Oh, and if you have little ones, they can participate in the Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder, a 1-mile version for kids over 42” tall and between ages 7-12. For more information, or to find a race near you, visit www.Mudderella.com. You can also check out their Facebook and Instagram for photos to inspire you.
Mudderella races benefit Futures Without Violence working to end domestic violence (in the United States), Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and White Ribbon working to end domestic violence (in Australia), so you’ll be supporting these great causes when you run a Mudderella!
